Having created some of the most popular images of the last 40 years, Shoukath was employed in the film and photography division of the personal department of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan at Bateen Palace during the period 1986 –1996. He has more than 4 decades of experience in professional photography and filmmaking. Inspired by the documentary tradition, but equally comfortable with theatrical staging, Shoukath's photographs bridge commercial and fine art.
